Cotswold countryside


 

 So what I tried to capture here is the golden hills that just go on and on and the beautiful halo around each sheep. I failed miserably but use your imagination.(and yes, P'tricia, I should have bought the better camera!)

 Then we came upon some professional thatchers. So interesting. They explained how using reeds brought in from the Ukraine instead of locally harvested stuff was lasting too long and putting them out of work! They are discouraging this sort of behaviour quite strongly for the future of thatchers that rely on replacing roofs every 20-25 years.


I feel like saying"once upon a time....."
